About LUIGIA VENDOLA

Luigia Vendola comes from a long family tradition started by her uncle Michele Vendola in his ancient Milan atelier. Her passion for quality clothing continues with her husband Rocco, knitwear weaver, and the couple establishes a renown knitwear workshop appreciated by the most important maisons for its capacity and creativity.
In 1990 she implements and adds the art of tailoring to knitwear items production by working for famous Italian companies. 
Since 2000, Luigia designs and prepares personally in her workshop-atelier 
her fashion collections, starting from a continuous stylistic research on lines and textiles always made in top-class materials up to the traditional making-up with tailor techniques.
The result is unique creations, cared in every detail, in which harmony, style and elegance are the distinctive notes of a craftsmanship coming from the heart and great passion of a most original Master Tailor in Milan.

THE SPIRIT OF THE COLLECTIONS
Our Collections are based on a funny and sophisticated style under the banner of chic, with soft and linear yarns enhancing femininity and the natural beauty of knitwear clothing. Geometrical, double-face jacquards, ribbings and satins create tri dimensional plays, while light, translucent laces catch the eye with their intriguing and stimulating effects. 
Significant knitwear both for demanding situations and free time, easily adapted to a total-look by replacing sometimes the shouldering with brand new alternatives.
A modern couture, elegance joined with comfort, simple but sophisticated, feminine in content, lines and substance, a style for a provoking dressing which leaves to a modern woman the pleasure to play with freedom and irony.
